LIGHT.

I felt dark inside,

I turned towards light,

It made my heart glow.

I felt the shadows of past following,

I turned towards light,

It made them disappear in a blow.

I felt my brain jagged,

I turned towards light,

It emitted warmth and carved the finest.

I felt my life deaden,

I turned towards light,

It radiated and made my eyes shine bright.

Each and every sphere of  light can add splendid colours to the darkest canvas :)

BALANCE RUPEES 470

A bright sunny winter morning, me and my friend were roaming in the streets of kamla nagar just talking about how awesome our campus is and as we always talk ,how this campus has so much to teach us, everyday i walk out with a new memory and a new reason to smile. Today i realised how the name of my blog is justified ,"THE OMNIPRESENT MAGIC". The magic of happiness, humanity, laughter, and positivity is all around us and we don`t need any fairies to come and sprinkle their fairy dust all over for spreading happiness we can do it everyday in all the small things we do.
since we were getting late for our class we decided to take an auto to reach college in time for the lecture of our favourite teacher.we ran towards the first auto we saw, there was a sardarji with a smile on his face .my friend asked him, "daulat ram chalengey uncle? kitne lengey?"  he smiled and replied ," haan chalengey beta ji ,500 rupey lagengey". me and my friend looked at each other ,and asked him again. he again said ,"500 rupey betaji". then we realised that he was kidding and we got in the auto. we started talking to him and he  discussed how all the autowalas just ask for 40-50 rs only for a 30 rupees ride. there was a smile on all three of our faces during the complete journey ,which passed in few minutes. when we reached there i took out three tens and placed them on his hand and said, "thanku uncleji, aapne to aj din bana dia" he smiled and replied ," beta meri to yeyi koshish rehti hai ki sab haste muskurate rahen , bas  aapko thodi der hasa dia din safal ho gaya magar aapke 470 rupey balance rahe"and laughed and then he went but it was not just the few minutes, i felt so happy and positive the whole day. i hope i meet him again. a stranger made my day and i learnt that  we have alot to give everyday and happiness is the only thing which we gain more than we give .i  owe him rs.470 for making my day and making me realise where the magic lies ;)

THE CHAIN OF CHANGE

"CHANGE"

All these years i just learnt,I live with a question everyday, everything which could change in the next wink of an eye. How a star could just fall out of the sky or could be my north star. Not even two rhyming lines for months and then a masterpiece suddenly at 3 A.M. Change,i fear it but i learn it will happen i like it or not .so why fear? welcome it with open arms accept it ,go with the flow and work it out.Let another colour stroke be a part of your canvas be a part of your beautiful canvas.Letting new colours on your canvas will only brighten your life. There is always a chain of changes which carries  on in our lives .Good or bad but, things change you get new opportunities ,loose some but life carries on . Stop, embrace it and then move on waiting for the next wind to come with a new change in your life. It is something so unpredictable that we cannot do anything by worrying about it or trying to stop it from crossing our paths.
As HERACLITUS says-

"CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT IN LIFE"

Embrace life as it comes .Wasting time in thinking about what future holds will only stop you from enjoying the present because you never know what could change in the next moment.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM

THE BARS WON'T LET ME SEE THE  SKY,

ITS BLUR,HOW IT FEELS TO FLY?

ITS NUMB,NO MORE PAIN IN MY WINGS,

THESE BARS,SLACKENED ALL THE STRINGS.

FOR A PENNY,THEY COME AND TAKE ME,

IS THIS THE PRICE FOR ME TO NOT BE FREE??

I HEARD THESE WINGS WERE PAINTED BY GOD,

BUT NOW THEY LOOK FADED AND ODD.

THE SPARKLE IN EYES IS SUDDENLY DIM.

EVERY TIME I TRIED ,BOUNCED BACK BY THE RIM......

THE GAME OF COLOURS....

MAA..WHAT IS BLACK? WHY DOES IT MATTER SO MUCH THAT MY FRIEND SARAH IS NOT AS FAIR AS I AM ? TODAY ONE OF MY CLASSMATES WAS TEASING HER AS "KAALI" WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? TEN YEARS OLD SARANGA STARTED TO BOMBARD QUESTIONS AT HER MOTHER AS SOON AS SHE RETURNED HOME FROM SCHOOL.SHE HAD BEEN WAITING WHOLE DAY WITH THE PUZZLE IN HER MIND.  MOTHER DID NOT FIND MUCH DEPTH IN HER QUESTIONS SHE CLEARLY ANSWERED "BETA , BLACK IS NOT AS BEAUTIFUL AS WHITE THAT IS THE REASON YOU ARE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN YOUR FRIEND. SARANGA GOT CONFUSED AND IT DID NOT TAKE HER A SECOND TO ASK THE NEXT QUESTION "BUT MAA YOU TOLD ME THE STORY OF THE PRINCE ,THE TALL DARK AND HANDSOME PRINCE , DIDNT YOU? THEN IF THE PRINCE CAN BE DARK WHY NOT THE PRINCESS WHY DOES SHE HAS TO BE FAIR ?" MOTHER DID NOT KNOW THE ANSWER TO HER TEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER  SHE NEVER REALISED WHAT SEED OF RACISM WAS SHE PLANTING IN HER DAUGHTER'S MIND. SO SHE  DIVERTED THE TOPIC BY TELLING SARANGA TO GO AND CHANGE .
BUT SARANGA,S QUESTIONS WERE STILL LEFT UNANSWERED .NEXT DAY SHE RETURNED HOME ,SAD. HER MOTHER QUESTIONED ABOUT HER MOOD.SARANGA TOLD THAT SARAH WAS PUT AT THE LAST ROW IN HER DANCE PERFORMACE ,ALTHOUGH SHE WAS A FABULOUS DANCER AND NOW SHE COULD NOT DANCE WITH HER FRIEND BY HER SIDE BECAUSE SHE WAS PUT TOO FAR FROM HER. MOTHER TRIED TO CONSOLE HER  BY TELLING THAT SHE WAS FAIR THAT IS THE REASON SHE WAS PUT IN THE FIRST ROW AND SARAH WAS PUT IN THE LAST 'IT IS JUST LIKE CHESS HONEY BLACK AND WHITE BOTH ARE PRESENT BUT THE GAME IS STARTED BY THE WHITE ONE JUST AS IN CAROM THE WHITE COIN HAS 20 POINTS AND THE BLACK ONE HAS TEN." NOW SARANGA'S MIND STARTED TO GET CONFUSED .HER INNOCENT MIND COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE PLAY OF BLACK AND WHITE.SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE THEORY OF CHESS HER MOTHER GAVE HER . SHE SAID ONLY ONE SENTENCE AND HER MOTHER COULD NOT SPEAK FURTHER, "BUT MOM THEN WHY DID YOU BRING ME COLOURED MARBLES FOR MY BIRTHDAY ,WHY NOT CHESS OR CAROM?"

WE NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT WE HAVE BEEN INCULCATING SINCE OUR CHILDHOOD.WHILE WE WERE TOLD STORIES OF BEAUTIFUL FAIR PRINCESSES WHEN WE WERE TOLD THAT BLACK IS THE COLOUR OF FILTH AND DIRT AND WHITE WAS THE  PURE COLOUR. OUR MINDS HAVE BEEN STEREOTYPED WITH BLACK AS THE COLOUR OF DEVIL AND WHITE OF THE ANGEL.

ME? YES I AM COLOURED. I HAVE THE RED COLOUR OF LOVE ,THE PURPLE COLOUR  OF POETRYAND ROYALTY, THE PINK COLOUR OF
JOY ,THE YELLOW COLOUR OF ENERGY, GREEN OF PATIENCE, BLUE OF ZEAL AND YES I HAVE A RAINBOW INSIDE ME......

celebrate little things

IN OUR LIVES WE ALWAYS KEEP ON WAITING FOR SOMETHING BIG AND EXTRAORDINARY TO HAPPEN,TO CELEBRATE AND REMEMBER.BUT MOST OF US FAIL TO NOTICE THE LITTLE MIRACLES TAKING PLACE EVERYDAY,WHICH WE TAKE FOR GRANTED.HOW EVERYTHING WE HAVE IS A BLESSING,THE POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW.

WHEN I CAME BACK THAT DAY FROM COLLEGE AND MY LITTLE DOG CAME AND POUNCED AT ME WAGGING HIS TAIL AND WELCOMING ME ..I REALIZED HOW IMPORTANT I AM TO HIM AND HOW THAT LITTLE HAIRY TAIL COULD BRUSH ALL MY WORRIES AND PAIN WITH A WAG. THE DAY I SAW THAT GIRL SITTING ALONE OH HER BIRTHDAY I REALIZED HOW LUCKY I WAS TO HAVE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WITH ME ON MY SPECIAL DAY.WE GENERALLY OVERLOOK THE LITTLE JOYS OF LIFE IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING GREAT.
WE CRIB ABOUT NOT GETTING GOOD GRADES BUT ARE WE NOT   LUCKY IF OUR MOMS ARE WORRIED AND WAIT FOR US WITH A BOWL OF MAGGIE AND CHOCOLATE SHAKE WHEN WE COME BACK HOME. I THINK THAT EVERYTHING FROM MY FATHER WAKING UP EARLY JUST TO DROP ME AT THE METRO STATION,MY FRIEND NOT EATING THE ICE CREAM BECAUSE MY THROAT WAS SOUR, TO MY BROTHER  CALLING ME ON A TRIP JUST TO ASK IF I WAS OKAY ARE ALL GREAT REASONS TO BE HAPPY AND FEEL SPECIAL.

SO I BELIEVE THAT THE COUNTING OF LITTLE JOYS IN LIFE IS NEVER ENDING .BIG THINGS ARE IMPORTANT BUT THESE LITTLE LITTLE THINGS CAN MAKE YOUR DAY AND NEVER FADE AWAY FROM YOUR HEART.EVERY MOMENT IS EXTRAORDINARY .
"THERE'S NEVER NOTHING GOING ON!"

THE GIRL WHO LOST HER DREAMS

SHE WAS INNOCENT AS A DOVE

UNKNOWN TO THE HAWKS OF THE WORLD

READY FOR ALL THE GOALS TO BE STRIVED

TILL THE DOOMING DAY ARRIVED

SHE WAS HIT BY THE BOLTS OF THUNDER

AS THE HUNTERS MOVED TO SATISFY DIABOLIC HUNGER

THEY TORE HER DREAMS INTO PIECES

AS BUTTERFLIES IN HER STOMACH DIED

NOT RELIEVED FROM THE PAWS OF BEASTS

TILL HER LAST BREATH YET SHE TRIED

DYING WAS SHE AS THEY TOOK HER EVERY GRAIN

EVERY TIME THE MEMORIES HIT THE SHORE OF HER BRAIN

HER DREAMS SHATTERED AND SMILE FADED

AS THE EVIL EAGLES CAME, INVADED

STILL SHE FOUGHT AND LIVED FOREVER

THOUGH THE RHYTHM OF HER PULSE ENDED.
